2024
Well, I didn't jot anything down on paper from Summer '24, so this 2024 staff update is pretty much just a bunch of photos to look at, with an occasional comment about a photo that jogs my memory. So with that being said, enjoy these photos from Summer 2024!
*Also, I threw this video together, using video clips from my smart phone from the last 2 summers. It's about 19 minutes long and it's not super entertaining. A lot of is is me documenting hikes I went on.
Session 1, 2024 update
I didn't take these first 2 photos on my camera and don't remember where I got them. Anyway, kudos to whoever took them!
Well we have banners that say our address is 16000 and other ones that say 14000. Regardless, the US post office, FedEx and UPS won't recognize our camp lodge address for deliveries, so we have to jump thru some hoops to receive packages. But the guy that delivers food (Aloha Foods), DOES deliver to our camp lodge. So we have that going for us, which is nice.
I don't know who designed this camp sticker, but it's pretty cool!
Session 2, 2024 update
Small stream going down our walking trail from the camp lodge to the secret alternate parking lot.
This is Wayne. He took a couple Summer's off, but he was back in '25!

Session 5, 2024 update
This was the first time I've ever seen a Mountain Goat on Mt Hood. He just showed up, ate some snow, and left. This was just east of the Mogul jump venue. Everybody got their smart phones out and took pics.

Session 11, 2024 update
On my bucket list, was to hike from Timberline Lodge, over to Mt Hood Meadows ski area. I had to cross White River, but unfortunately, I lost a thong in the fast-moving river. It took about 2.5 hours total. I hope to do this hike again. Wanna join me?
Hangin' with the adult campers at Charlie's on the last day of camp 2024!
